If anyone is interested in a New Year’s resolution about starting to do more and how about giving bell ringing a go. It looks likely that bell ringing will play some part in the Olympic celebration so come along and get involved.
We practice on Wednesday nights from 7 pm for a hour and are a friendly welcoming bunch and we also ring before the Sunday service. .

Ringing for the Olympics - Take part in the Olympics in 2012!!
As part of the Olympics you may be aware they organizing a festival, one of the events being ‘All the Bells’ encouraging everyone to ring bells so here is your perfect opportunity to learn to ring and take part in a nationwide event celebrating the Olympics.
BELL RINGERS OF BRITAIN!
We need you to make musical history. Help us ring all the bells in the UK on 27 July 2012 to welcome the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Friday 27 July 2012 will be no ordinary morning. At 8.00am people all across the UK will ring bells to perform Martin Creed’s Work No. 1197: All the bells in a country rung as quickly and as loudly as possible for three minutes, a piece specially commissioned as part of the London 2012 Festival – the culmination of the four-year Cultural Olympiad.
So if you want to take part in the Olympics or just learn to ring now is your ideal opportunity.
