Working weekends begin


Working weekends  begin in February with the first Saturday of every month.  This will be tidying the churchyard.  If you have anytime to spare come along and help out.

Bellringers required for Olympics and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee


With the major events of the Olympic opening ceremony, the torch relay coming to Theale, Queen’s Diamond Jubilee bell ringers are required for these occasions.  So if you want to give it a go anyone can do it, all are welcome and a great way to do something different. Contact the Tower Captain Chris Burnham for more details.


New social occasions


This year their are a number of new social occasions including

Burns Night- 27th January  at Theale Primary school 8 p.m.

Shrove Tuesday - 21st February Pancakes at Englefield Primary school 6:30 pm.

October 2011

Harvest Festival

This years Harvest festival takes place on Sunday 16th October. All food collected will be donated to people in the village and Reading drop in centre.

All Souls day

On Sunday 30th October at 6:30 p.m. a service of Thanksgiving for Loved Ones.

Licencing service

The licencing service for Ann & Peter Templeman takes place at 7:00 pm Saturday 8th October at Holy Trinity Theale

First Sunday Service

The First Sunday service for the Ann & Peter Templeman will be on Sunday 9th October at 10:00 am

September 2011

Last working party of the summer

The last working party of the summer takes place on Saturday 24th September from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This time we will among other things be looking at the footpath's and cleaning inside the church
