At Holy Trinity Theale we are evangelical, meaning that we delight to take God and His Word, the Bible, seriously. We are committed to being faithful witnesses of the good news of Jesus Christ. We are part of God's worldwide church, praying for and supporting several mission groups.
10.30am Services
Every Sunday the Bible is read and explained, we worship together with wonderful music and we bring up all our needs in prayer. There are also children's activities during the service. Our 10:30am services are for everyone - young, old, enquirer or lifelong Christian.
We have three 'types' of 10.30am service:
All-Age Service
The first Sunday of every month is our all-age service, which is geared towards everyone. We all stay together (including the children), and it lasts around an hour. The children will be able to join in with action songs and an interactive talk.
Morning Worship
The third Sunday of the month is our Morning Worship service. This service lasts around an hour and 15 minutes, and begins with everyone all together in church. There is an 'all-age spot' and a children's song, before the children go to their Sunday clubs.
Holy Communion
The second and fourth (and sometimes fifth) Sundays of the month are Holy Communion. This service still has Sunday clubs for children, and will last around an hour and 15 minutes.
6pm Service
On the final Sunday of each month, we have our monthly Evening Praise service. This is a more informal service, with a music group accompanying us as we worship God.
Special Services
Throughout the year, various additional services take place in the church. These include Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Easter services, Remembrance Sunday and the Service of Thanksgiving for Loved Ones. We hold a number of Christmas services in December, including Carols by Candlelight, the crib service and Midnight Communion.
